March 12th, 2018

This week we worked our butts off, now that we know how. We were being obedient to a T and... blessings. It's nice to know what we're doing so far. And we were blessed. We found a family of 6, a family of 4, and one guy this week. So far only the parents are taking the lessons, but we're still trying our best. Technically we have 5 new investigators this week, which is really good from what I understand.

It's awesome! I'm so pumped to actually be a missionary. It's a little hard sometimes, but I know we will continue to be blessed as we are obedient and diligent. There's a guy in our ward named Swede Young and he is awesome. He's helped us a ton and coming on team ups with us. I know the missionaries appreciate you doing that.

My comp knows everything about the Gospel, it's ridiculous. I've learned that I don't know a lot of what I'm teaching, but I guess I know enough. My comp says I'm good at just talking to people, which I know isn't me, Heavenly Father blessed me with that after a lot of prayer and awkward situations. He's really good at talking doctrine. He understands it very well, so I think we go well together. It's pretty awesome to be able to share this message of truth, and still have fun.

I'm such a city boy holy schnikeys. We were messing with chickens and helping a member out and we are cleaning this little chick cage thing, which used to be a terrarium, so all the smell was nasty. I stuck my head in there to grab the wood chips and might've puked a bit. My companion just laughed. But no one saw so it's all good I felt like a wuss. After that I was fine and no problems. Just wanted to disappoint ya. ;)

I love you and thank you so much for all you've taught me. Spanish is going well. I'll talk to ya next week; I'm about to go bowling with a ward family and look like a fool.
