Me and Elder Owens, who I just love
Good food with a fun family ... and he and Elder Owens switched name tags for a hot minute ... Zack's brother is Owen...it all works out, right?
I don't have much time today, sorry.
This week was something. It started off with us getting the car taken away because there was a giant mix up in the office here [with paperwork]…and yeah it was awful haha. We loved that car. But it was a good learning experience.
We gotta call 911 this week! This guy was just stopped in the middle of an intersection chillin. And he wouldn't talk. I think he was having a stroke or something. So yeah. They came super quick though!
We taught this guy with a naked chick tattooed on his forearm. Turns out, recently he is going through a real change of heart and one of the nicest, good intentioned people I've ever met! Don’t judge people by their looks!
We taught this guy named Roger, who is just battling through heck right now because he’s tryna come closer to Christ, which is nuts to say, but seriously. His ex gf just showed up, his work is exploding, etc. It’s crazy man. Absolutely nuts. But such a good guy and he recognizes [the adversary working extra hard on him since he is trying to change his life].
Yesterday we got to go give this lady with cancer the sacrament for probably the last time. She is from Chihuahua. She just looks so drained. Just so tired. I felt so bad for her.
In short, it was a pretty long week with a lot of good, but mostly bad…haha but it was pretty fun. Sometimes suffering is actually hilarious and needed.
Do you remember that Honduran family we met a while ago? Yesterday, the [men] were sustained to be Priests! It was awesome!
We get to visit this family who has a lot of cute kids. One of their little girls is named Sauri. She is the cutest little girl; she looks like Boo from Monsters Inc. But she loves me and Elder Owens and we have a ton of fun! haha They're so funny and pure.
I love these people. I love you so much.
